Speaking Experience
Debates
​
Sara has participated in several inter-school and intra-school debating competitions. She won the the third prize in the Inter-school Science Debate at the ‘Udaan’ 2017 fest organized by the Regional Science and Technology Centre, Ghaziabad. She won the 'Best Motion Framing' award at the prestigious 'Dr. Amidas Goradia Debate' moderated by Mr. Parnab Mukherjee held at the Indian School. Sara won the Best Team Award at the Apeejay International School Dr. Stya Paul debate. She won the 3rd Prize at the DPS RK Puram Debate in 2022. Apart from these, she has won several awards in other intra and inter-school events.
MUNs and Youth Parliaments

Sara has participated in several MUNs. She has won several awards including the 'Best Parliamentarian' award at Youth Parliament events. She was awarded the 'High Commendation' recognition at the SBS Inter-School MUN for her participation in the World Economic Forum Committee. She believes MUNs give her an opportunity to thoroughly research about current issues, gain awareness, formulate my views, and express them.

Speeches
​
Sara has compered at several school events and assemblies. Her delivery of the Elevator Pitch at the TiE Young Entrepreneurs Global Finals hosted by TiE Seattle led to her startup team WhyQ winning the 'Best Elevator Pitch' track prize. She greatly enjoys public speaking and is known to be a passionate orator.
Poetry

Sara has won top prizes at Poetry Festivals and Competitions. She has won several awards at 'Abhivyakti' Hindi Recitation events. Her rendition of a poem on women empowerment (Nari Sashaktikaran) was very appreciated. Sara finds poetry to be a very valuable and powerful medium through which she can express her views, emotions, and opinions and raise important issues.
